Daily Routine

 

 Your child’s daily routine in nursery will vary according to their age; young babies follow their own routine from home and we work closely with you to ensure that this happens.

As children grow, their daily routine changes – needing less sleep and eating at more conventional mealtimes for example and Monkeys and Koalas will follow a more set routine as follows:

 

 

08.00 – Free play and self-registration

 09.30 – Free flow and planned activity

 10.00 – Snack bar opens and nappy change

 11.00 – Tidy-up/shoes and coats on

 11.15 – Go out to play

 11.45 – Get ready for lunch

 12.00 – Lunch-time

 12.30 – Story time

 13.00 – Home time and children arrive – Free play 

 13.30 – Free play including planned activity

 14.00 - Snack bar opens and nappy change

 15.00 – Tidy up/shoes and coats on

 15.15 - Go out to play

 15.45 - Story or songs

 15.00 – Get ready for tea

 16.15 - Tea time

 16.30 – Free play and games

 17.00 – Nappy change

 18.00 – Home time
